David Weiss

David Weiss is the Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of the Bank’s Fairfax Regional Office in Los Angeles. He brings over 30 years of diversified Financial Services experience to this institution, which includes over a decade as the owner and operator of a successful mortgage banking organization. Mr. Weiss has been a member of the Commercial Bank of California team since May 2012. He began his career at Wells Fargo Bank, where he moved through the bank’s training program to assume the responsibilities of an Installment Loan Officer at the institution’s Santa Monica office. Mr. Weiss’s banking experience encompasses years spent at both large and independent institutions, which afforded him the opportunity to embrace the distinctive strengths inherent in each.

A relentless focus on customer service, combined with a core emphasis on business development, has earned Mr. Weiss a loyal following of both depositors and borrowers over these many years. His personal experience in the real-estate investment arena, as well as his previous business ownership, gives him a unique perspective regarding the needs and expectations of the client.

A resident of Santa Monica for some four decades; he is an active member of the community and contributor to philanthropic organizations. Mr. Weiss holds a BA degree in Communication Studies from California State University at Northridge.
