CBC Partners with Junior Achievement So Cal to Provide Financial Literacy for LA Youth

Junior achievement team

Commercial Bank of California (CBC) has partnered with Junior Achievement of Southern California to educate youth about personal finance and budgeting. CBC employees volunteered their time and talent at Junior Achievement Finance Park on March 21 to teach 120 students from Wilson Senior High School, a Title 1 school in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

CBC has long embraced an initiative to engage and give back to the community in a meaningful way. Junior Achievement of Southern California operates Junior Achievement Finance Park, which is the financial literacy laboratory dedicated to teaching youth sound money management skills.

Cindy Pulido, CBC’s Community Reinvestment Act Officer says, “Here at CBC, we believe giving back is part of our collective work. We’re excited to connect employees and clients with opportunities to create social change in the communities where we live, work and play.”
